As one of the top stainless steel cold drawn flat bars manufacturers India, we carry out the cold drawn stainless steel process in which the pointed end of the bar or coil is passed through the die, where it enters a gripping device of the drawing machine. The drawing machine draws the remaining unreduced section of the bar through the die. The die reduces the cross-sectional area of the original bar, increases the length of the original product, and shapes the profile of the product. The final product being drawn is at room temperature, i.e., cold finished steel bar, which exhibits a bright and polished finish, and improved machining characteristics. The drawing operation enhances the mechanical properties, tensile strength, and precise and uniform dimensional tolerances, offering tight tolerances in the final product. This cold finished steel provides excellent finished steel bar quality compared to hot rolled steel or cold rolled steel.
