PingMe Alert App alerts the user's emergency contacts if the user's phone remains idle for a preset duration in order to trigger family/friends to promptly check on him/her, as prolonged idle time could be an indication of a serious issue that requires attention.
Application Features
PingMe Alert App is designed to send alerts quickly to a list of preferred emergency contacts. Alerts can be sent to added contacts if user's phone is idle/off for prolonged period of time.
Location Updates
The user can turn off/on location updates from the settings menu. If location updates are on, the app will send the user’s location within the alert.
Alert
Alerts will be sent to user’s emergency contact list when phone’s idle time is exceeded. Desired idle time is set by user based on use habits.
Recurring Alert
Alerts will be sent at regular intervals until user reengages with phone.
Sleep Mode
Allows user to deactivate idle time countdown and alerts while user is sleeping.

Yes, any person from the contact list can be added as an emergency contact.
Do my emergency contacts need a smartphone?
For a better user experience, a smartphone is required, but the emergency contact can also have a normal phone.

Can I add emergency e911/911,000,999,112 services as sos contacts?
You cannot add emergency services numbers (like E911,112,000,999) as PingMe contacts.
